Description
The Richard Mille RM 35-02 Carbon TPT is a dynamic and technically advanced timepiece that embodies the brand’s fusion of cutting-edge materials, high-performance engineering, and bold design. Inspired by tennis legend Rafael Nadal and designed for wear in the most demanding conditions, the RM 35-02 takes the lightweight philosophy of the RM 035 series to a new level—marking the first time an automatic movement was introduced in the Nadal line.
The 44.50mm x 49.94mm x 13.15mm tonneau-shaped case is constructed from Carbon TPT, a proprietary material composed of hundreds of layers of parallel carbon filaments stacked at alternating angles. This process creates a distinctive, layered aesthetic across the case, with each pattern unique to the individual watch. Carbon TPT is not only visually striking but also exceptionally durable and lightweight—ideal for a timepiece designed to endure high-impact physical activity.
The skeletonized dial reveals the in-house Caliber RMAL1, an automatic movement crafted from grade 5 titanium with a variable geometry rotor. This rotor design allows for optimized winding based on the wearer’s activity level, a hallmark of Richard Mille’s innovation. The movement delivers a power reserve of approximately 55 hours and is finished with black PVD treatment and red accents, highlighting the technical depth and athletic inspiration of the watch.
